This cyan glass orb attached to a steel chain can be peered through to see visions of wispy clouds. While attuned, you can use your action to cast arcane eye, clairvoyance, or scrying using the orb. When you cast any of these spells in this way, you can project the sensor's vision and hearing either onto the orb or in an illusory image that fits in a 10ft. square within 5 feet of you. If one of these spells would limit or restrict your senses, it does not when cast through the orb. Once you cast one of these spells, you cannot cast any of them in this way again until the next dawn.
While concentrating one of the spells cast through the orb, you can use your action to smash the orb on a surface within 5 feet of you, causing it to shatter and causing you to teleport to the nearest unoccupied space to the sensor. You then take 5d6 psychic damage and are incapacitated for the next hour. Once shattered, the orb reforms itself on the steel chain after 7 days. If you unattune from the chain while the orb is shattered, the 7 days required for the orb to reform does not begin until the orb is attuned to again.
