Auger

Upon wearing the ring the bearer is transferred to the realm of Auger, they can see everything in the physical plane on top of the Auger like an overlay.

they can hear everything from the physical plane, but distorted like an underwater effect. but they cannot be heard from within the Auger.

The Auger is dark and cold, its inhabitants lost souls and wraiths. Inhospitable to those bearing mortal souls. Wide expanses of grey and blue.

Thunder clouds storm in the distance around all sides of the player.
