Alchemy Bolts

Special single use bolts with alkali metals (Na, Li, K) for tips. These bolts must be kept in a well oiled quiver or case to stop the tips from exploding pre-maturely. When fired from the crossbow it does the piercing damage and on the next turn (6 seconds) the arrow tip explodes dealing 3d6 bludgeoning damage to the target as the metal violently reacts with bodily liquids. If the bolt misses the target it still explodes in a 10ft sphere with a dexterity save of 10 dealing 2d4 bludgeoning damage on a fail. Once it has exploded the bolt cannot be recoverable unless by magical means.
