Weapon (shortsword), uncommon (requires attunement)

This shortsword's pommel is made of pure crystal ice that cannot be broken or melted by normal means. While wielding this shortsword, you can use your reaction in response to taking damage from an attack to force the creature that damaged you to make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. It takes 3d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Once used, this trait can't be used again until the next dawn.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
