An arcane crossbow is a weapon that resembles an ebony crossbow stock. Arcane crossbows are created by elders by psionically manipulating ebonharrow into a ranged weapon that can fire blasts of negative energy in the hands of its intended user. Only one creature can attune to an arcane crossbow, chosen by the elder during the arcane crossbow's creation.

Additionally, the arcane crossbow's loading property cannot be ignored, even by features that would normally allow a creature to ignore a ranged weapon's loading property.

Proficiency with a Heavy Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
