If you drink it, you take 4d8 poison damage, and you must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned. At the start of each of your turns while you are poisoned in this way, you take 4d8 poison damage. At the end of each of your turns, you can repeat the saving throw. On a successful save, the poison damage you take on your subsequent turns decreases by 1d8. The poison ends when the damage decreases to 0.
A weapon can also be coated with the poison to last 1 hour or 1 full engagement of combat. If a target is struck with a weapon coated with this poison, take the full 4d8 poison damage, and must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned. At the start of each of their turns while poisoned in this way, they take 4d8 poison damage. At the end of each of their turns, they can repeat the saving throw. On a successful save, the poison damage they take on their subsequent turns decreases by 1d8. The poison ends when the damage decreases to 0.
