INT 16, WIS 16, CHA 10 -- Sentient and contemplative, bound to Zoso's noble cause.
-Communication: Telepathic whispers when held; Zoso senses its emotions like wind in a rose garden before a storm.
-Senses: 50 ft. darkvision, 50 ft. supernatural hearing -- picks up lies, betrayal, and concealed threats with unnatural acuity.
*Proficiencies Granted:
-Intimidation - with the edge of divine authority
-Insight (Sense Motive) -- reads foes' intentions like creases in old parchment
-Knowledge (Psionics or Arcana) -- detects and interprets psychic resonances from beings and relics
*Magical Features:
-Holy Smite - Radiant strikes imbued with divine light, +2 to attack/damage. On critical hits, Zhivago sheds a flash of rosefire, dealing extra 4d8 radiant damage in a 10 ft. burst.
-Oathkeeper's Vow - Once per long rest, auto-succeed on a saving throw vs. charm, fright, or possession. Allies within 15 ft. gain advantage on those saves for 1 minute.
-Thorns of Judgement - Bonus action to surround Zoso in radiant thorns for 1 minute. Melee attackers take 2d10 radiant damage on a hit.
-Aurithal's Echo - When wielded alongside the Heart of Aurithal, once per day cast Holy Aura with no components. The blade resonates with divine glory, its hum harmonizing with Aurihal's call.
-Will of the Rose - Once per long rest, cast Zone of Truth or Beacon of Hope without material components. Only those with clean hearts may speak freely within the sword's aura.
-Petals of Defiance - If Zoso falls below half HP, Zhivago erupts in ghostly petals. Allies within 30 ft. gain +1 AC and advantage on saves vs. fear until Zoso's next turn.
*Attunement & Legacy
-Attunement Requirements: Only Zoso thesus -- bearer of the Knightly Roseblood Sigil and sworn protector of the Roses of Dior may attune to Zhivago. The attunement must be renewed on each lunar eclipse with a whispered recitation of the Oath of Thorns and Bloom.
-Temperament: Zhivago tolerates no deception. It has gone cold in the hands of those who've broken oaths or acted in cruelty. It does not scream--it withholds.
**Legendary Feature: The Blooming End
Once per week, when Zoso is reduced to 0 HP (but not instantly slain), Zhivago unleashes a radiant bloom:
-Heals Zoso for 50 HP
-Knocks all enemies within 20 ft. prone
-Covers the battlefield in ephemeral rose petals, leaving behind a faint warmth and scent of Dior's original garden.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
