Attentive Stone

A stone, purple and shimmering with arcane energy. Roughly 1.5lbs.

A wondrous stone from the Age of Arcana, this stone allows the wielder to imbue a concentration spell of 4th level or lower to be cast 1/day (imbuement also 1/day). The stone will maintain the concentration needed for the spell with the DC of the original caster. The stone must be held in the hand of the user, replacing whatever else is in it.

• Any attacks targeting the stone, if successful, will cause the spell to end immediately
• The stone is immune to any mind-affecting spells that might affect the user
• Every 2 turns, a concentration check for the stone must be rolled, with a DC of 10 + the spell's level
• Imbuing the stone takes the duration of casting the concentration spell on the stone
• Casting the spell in a higher slot will cause the maximum level (4) to be used
• Casting the spell in a lower slot will use that level of slot
