A blunted arrow with a curiously pungent collection of arcane powders.
Use as ammunition for any bow or crossbow, roll attack as normal with a +1 to hit. On a hit, Arrow of Anticipation does no damage to the target, but the owner of the Arrow of Anticipation, so long as they can see the impact, know any vulnerabilities or resistances (including number of legendary resistances) the target has; this consumes the arrow. On a miss, roll a d10: on a 1, the arrow strikes a hard surface, scattering the powder payload and consuming the arrow; on a 2-10, the arrow bounces safely and can be recovered for reuse.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
