Weapon (longbow), legendary (requires attunement by a )

While attuned to the longbow, you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it and it creates its own, magical arrows.

The alligating longbow has 6 charges and regains 1d4+2 charges daily at dawn. Wile attuned to the bow, you can expend a charge as a part of your attack action, but before you make any attacks, and if you hit a creature with a magic arrow that turn, ethereal chains appear from where the arrow hits, and bind and pull the target towards you. On its next turn, a creature that is bound by these chains must make a DC 17 Strength check when it tries to move away from you. On a success, it can move away from you at half speed, and on a failure, it cannot move away from you that round. At the start of your next turn, the chains binding any creature disappear, freeing the creatures. Creatures that are immune to being grappled are immune to this effect.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
