The dark purple blade of this sword is crafted from a mysterious arcane alloy. Etched into this alloy are arcane symbols that are only readable by high-level Bladesingers and only a Bladesinger can unlock the weapon's true capability.
This ancient artifact grows in power with time, perseverance, and personal growth of its user during which it can regain access to some of its lost abilities by reaching various states. Eventually, through extreme personal challenge, evolution, and achievement, this Vestige can reach its full potential in its exalted state.
A Bladesinger Wizard can unlock the magic at certain milestones.
Level 1 - 4 Dormant state No benefits.
Level 5 - 9 Stirring state Level 5 - 9
Level 10 - 14 Awakened state
Level 15 - 19 Elevated state
Level 20 exalted state

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
