While wearing this amulet, you can use an action to name a location that you are familiar with in the Astral plane. Then make a DC 15 Intelligence check. On a successful check, you cast the plane shift spell. On a failure, you and each creature and object within 15 feet of you travel to a random destination in the Astral Plane, and take 1D10 +5 Force damage. On a success you end up to roughly at the location you asked for. It's not pinpoint accuracy, but a general area.
If you use planar teleportation of any kind in the last 24 hours the Amulet must wait to be used. Even if it was not used to perform the teleportation.
