Aegis-Fang was forged by the ancient king Bruenor Battlehammer for his adoptive son Wulfgar. The head is made of mithril and has a magical diamond coating. The symbols of the three major dwarven gods are etched onto the head, one over to top of the other: Moradin, for strength in battle; Clangeddin, for decisive thought battle; Dumathoin, for deftness and wit in battle. The haft is made from adamantite and has silver and platinum filigree swirling from the pommel to the head. The pommel has the Foaming Mug, symbol of Clan Battlehammer attached to the base.
