A zzap stick is a simple melee weapon with a reach of 10 ft.

It deals 1d8 lightning damage on a hit.

This magic weapon has 3 charges. When you hit a creature that is Large size or smaller with an attack using the zzap stick, you can expend 1 charge. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become stunned until the start of your next turn. A creature that is immune to lightning damage automatically passes this saving throw.

The zzap stick regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
