This crystalline sword wielded by the Indomitable Warrior of Light carries within the memories of many heroes of the past, present, future and other dimensions. Just carrying it give you a glimpse of all those who sacrificed their lives, died unjust yet heroic deaths and fought for what was always right. This artifact is a +3 weapon. While attuned to this weapon, you gain the following benefits:
-You have immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
-You have resistance to radiant damage.
-You deal critical hits on a 19-20.
-On a hit, you deal an extra 2d6 radiant damage.
This artifact possess the following effects and abilities while attuned to it:
Minor positive effects:
-You can cast Light at will. Charisma is the mod for casting.
-You gain +1 AC while attuned to this item.
Major positive effect:
-You may cast Soul Cage with the blade being the material component of the spell. After casting this spell, roll a d6. On a 1-5, you cannot recast this spell until next dawn.
Negative effects:
-Your alignment turns lawful good, if it is not already that alignment. A Ceremony spell can be used to shift you alignment back to its original state but at the end of each month, your alignment shifts back to lawful good if you are still attuned to the weapon.
-While attuned to the artifact, you have vulnerability to necrotic damage.
Transmogrification.
As a bonus action, you can give the weapon the shape of any kind of sword. The blade will always have a blue crystalline hue. You may also cause the blade to shine sunlight in a radius of 60 ft. using this feature.
Dancing Blade.
As a bonus action, you may send the sword flying away from your hand, up to 60 ft. and perform your attacks from it. The sword uses your modifiers to attack and damage. After performing its attacks, it will attempt to fly back to your free hand. If your hand isn't free, the weapon fall to the ground besides you.
The Bitter End.
On a roll of 20 on an attack, your target must succeed a DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw or have their hit point maximum reduced to 1 instead of taking any damage and immediately kneel before the wielder of Absolute Clemency, becoming incapacitated until the end of your next turn as they beg for mercy. On a success, they take damage as normal and are immune to The Bitter End for 24 hours. The hit point reductions last until the end of a long rest. Creatures with Legendary Actions are immune to The Bitter End.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
