These handcuffs are comprised of an alloy of silver and adamantine. Intricate runes are engraved into these cuffs and these runes glow a deep shade of blue when active.
A creature that is bound by these cuffs acts as if they are in an antimagic field. The individual is divorced from the magical energy that suffuses the multiverse. When bound, spells can't be cast, summoned creatures disappear, and even magic items become mundane.
Magic Items. The properties and powers of magic items are suppressed when bound. For example, a longsword, +1 functions as a nonmagical longsword when wielded by someone wearing these handcuffs.
Creatures and Objects. A creature or object summoned or created by magic temporarily winks out of existence as long as the caster is bound. Such a creature instantly reappears once the caster is no longer bound by the handcuffs.
Dispel Magic. Spells and magical effects such as dispel magic have no effect on the handcuffs. Likewise, the sphere created by an antimagic field spells doesn't nullify the effects of the handcuffs.
