Alagai Hora (literally meaning "Demon Bones" in Kalduran language) are a special set of dice carried by Kaldeum mystics of old. The thing that makes these dice special is that they are made from the bones of sand demons that live in the region and are inscribed with special runes to read the future of individuals and events.
Traditionally there are seven polyhedral dice used for divination. Each die has a different number of sides; four, six, eight, ten, twelve, sixteen, and twenty.
They are carried in a special case or pouch, known as a Hora Pouch, that is also inscribed with runes. Should the dice come into contact with sunlight they will be destroyed much like the demons of which they are made.
Casting the dice
Foresight: Once per day roll two d20s and record only one of the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with the foretelling roll. You must choose to do so before the roll.
If you do not use the roll it expires when the new day begins at sunrise.
Fortune Telling: Once per day you may ask a single question with two options. Cast the dice and the truth will be told. This could be a yes/no, true/false.
