Speaking the command phrase allows the bearer of this amulet to step back in time for 6 seconds which the bearer acts out immediately upon use.
During this time, the Bearer is able to take actions, use items, and otherwise effect the world around them as normal, including actions upon their current self. After 6 seconds, the bearer reverts back to their original point of use, all changes made now part of the original timeline.
The bearer is immune to opportunity attacks during time step, and other creatures cannot use reactions.
The amulet comes with 1+d4 charges, and regains used charges at the rate of one charge every 24 hours of non-use. It can hold a maximum of 5 charges total.
The mental exertion required by the bearer to exist in two places at once allows for only one safe use per long rest. Using the amulet a second time per long rest requires a DC15 WIS saving throw. On a success, the use is successful. On a fail, the bearer takes 4d8 Psychic damage and is Stunned.
Note, using the item after bearer reaches level 15 allows the bearer to step back for 12 seconds rather than 6, providing the bearer has a Wisdom score of at least 17.
