While wearing this amulet, any undead you raise remain under your control indefinitely while you wear the amulet. A maximum of 200 zombies or skeletons, or 50 undead with a challenge rating no greater than 4, can be controlled in this way. If your attunement to this item ends, you loose control over all of the undead that you wouldn't otherwise have control over.
Attuning to this item causes your skin to become pale and sallow, and your eyes shrunken and withered. Certain spells or features, such as detect evil and good, reveal that you have an undead nature. Additionally, you gain resistance to cold, necrotic, and poison damage, if you do not already have them, but you also gain a vulnerability to fire and radiant damage which cannot be negated in any way while you are attuned to the amulet.
