You attempt to create a strong magnetic field centered on an object or target creature within range. If the target is a creature make a melee spell attack against as you attempt to touch them, on a hit a magnetic field expands from them. If the target is an object, the spell automatically succeeds.
Any loose metal items within a 5ft radius of up to 50lbs in weight immediately come flying at the target.
All creatures within the 5ft radius holding a metal item must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or have the item wrenched from their hands and hurled towards the target creature or object. The target takes 1d4 bludgeoning damage for each item weighing more than 1 lbs, that flies into them this way (maximum of 10d4).
Every creature in range wearing metal armor must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or or be pulled 5 feet towards the target. If the pulled creature enters the same space as the target, they fall prone.
When imbuing the magnetic orb with energy, you may decide to use a spell slot to increase the range and weight limit of the spell, as shown in the following table:
Level 1 slot: 100 lbs, 10ft range, 5ft pull
Level 2 slot: 200 lbs, 20ft range, 10ft pull
Level 3 slot: 300 lbs, 30ft range. 15ft pull
Level 4 slot: 400 lbs, 40ft range. 20ft pull
Level 5 slot: 500 lbs, 50ft range. 25ft pull
