The wielder of this rod can cause it to change shape. As a bonus action, the rod can be turned into any weapon, suit of armor, or other item that fits in a 5ft. cube.

If changed into a weapon, the wielder is considered proficient with it and gets a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

If changed into a suit of armor, the armor forms around the wielder requiring no time to don, and they receive a +1 bonus to their AC. However, they must have proficiency with the type of armor that is formed, and the rod can't take the shape of armor of the wielder is already wearing armor.

If changed into a miscellaneous object, the item must be able to be contained in a 5ft. cube, but once it is created, its dimensions are no longer restrained to a 5ft. cube, such as a coil of rope of an extendable ladder.

The rod reverts to its original form if the wielder drops to 0 HP or if the wielder ends the transformation (no action required).
