Astral Compass (1 Shards)

This legendary artifact resembles an elaborate nautical compass, set in a polished wooden frame about 9 inches wide. Shallow golden receptacles ring the compass, allowing fragments of astral metal to be clamped into place.  The compass is attracted to the Fallen Star. As more fragments are added, the compass gains additional powers.

The compass currently has one fragment in it.

Fragment of Arcane Resonance: A character with the compass can take an action to cast detect magic, at will. Unlike the normal version of the spell, the character must expend an action each round to maintain the effect.
