Childs of the Moons are legendary swords which were created at the dawn of time by the most powerful archmage. They are very ancient scimitars made in a strange alloy that give them indefinable metallic reflections as if all the metals of the universe had merged. They do not know all the resistance due to the metals they pass through without any resistance.
It is said that these twin blades endowed with consciousness each represent an aspect of the moon :
- Aëlowa Moonshadow represents the dark and hidden side of the moon.
- Salawëa Moonpair represents the bright and visible face of the moon
The personality of his blades is oriented to the good but each in his own way. They would be the origin of the creation by the elves of Moonblade.
The sword choose together their master and serve him until the death. If they are separeted, each one of them chooses a master aligned with his own personnality.
The Child of the Moon won’t serve anyone it regards as craven, erratic, corrupt, or at odds with preserving and protecting elvenkind. If the blade rejects you, you make ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws with disadvantage for 24 hours. If the blade accepts you, you become attuned to it.
