The idea for the amulet of ooze riding's taken from an unpublished research paper by a wizard whose name got lost in the bureaucracy. Some suspect that it’s the same wizard who summoned Jibblinplip, because how many ooze-obsessed wizards can there be out there? (Even 1's too many.) Originally it was meant to serve as a means to enter a gelatinous cube, shielded by a bubble of magic, & push the cube around. This new version's less silly & more functional. Well, a little less silly.
Once attuned to this amulet, whenever you'd come into contact w/ an ooze the amulet creates a barrier of force that shields you, giving oozes disadvantage on melee attacks against you, & preventing you from moving into an ooze’s space as well as preventing oozes from entering your space.
As an action, the amulet's capable of generating a “forceboard” beneath your feet. The forceboard's 30 ft. long & 10 ft. wide. It can comfortably hold 6 Medium creatures in a single-file line, & uncomfortably hold up to 12 in 2 lines. On a hazardous surface such as lava or acid, the forceboard moves up to 60 ft. per round & lasts for 1 min. If you've a massive ooze to ride on, however, the forceboard's reinforced by the defensive shield & moves up to 150 ft. per round & lasts for 1 hr. In either case, once the forceboard expires you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
Notes: Disadvantage: Attack Rolls Against You
