Wit was always curious about pushing the bounds of weaving shadow magic through his illusions, and attempted to create a copy of his Teacher, Absol's Staff of the Magi which could at will be used to create a Major Image. He managed to do so, but the spell did not work as intended. The staff creates an illusion of a familiar, as if by the Find Familiar spell. However, it is treated like an illusion.

Once a day, Wit can use his ability to alter illusions to make the familiar into a Major Image of his choice, for 10 minutes, or until he uses an action to dismiss it, returning it to the illusion of a familiar.
