Weapon (battleaxe), common

gythka was a type of exotic weapon invented by the thri-kreen and unique to them.

It was a long, two-handed polearm with a crescent-shaped blade mounted on each end. These dealt deep slashing wounds. A highly trained warrior could fight with both ends at once. It could also be hurled as a spear. It was much more familiar to the thri-kreen, who, with four arms, could wield two gythkas simultaneously.

Special. If you attack with a gythka as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make a melee attack with it. This attack deals 1d6 slashing damage on a hit, instead of 1d8.

This weapon qualifies for the polearm master feat.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Ignore Weapon Property: Versatile, Weapon Property: Two-Handed, Versatile, Topple
