The Legendary bow of Xena, the Arctic Huntress. The bow is made from two kukris bound together. Named after the goddess of winter, Auril. The bow can transform, separating the two Kukri. Legend says that this bow was gifted to the first follower of Auril, as a sign of their affinity. Some believe that Auril had a deep love for her.
Winter's Grasp - You feel the chilling presence of the Winter Goddess's powers lingering in this bow, you call upon her icy powers to infuse your shots with frost. As an Action, you can make a ranged weapon attack. This deals 1d6 piercing damage and an additional 2d4 cold damage.
On a roll of 19 or Critical, the target of the attack must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC15) or become Frozen (paralyzed) for 2 turns, or until they are struck with an attack.
The bow holds 3 charges. The charges regenerate after 24 hours.
Unforgiving Cold - The wielder of this bow must be careful in their judgment, for the icy grip of cold has no biases. For every shot that the wielder fires from this bow, they are required to make a constitution saving throw (DC 12). On a failed save, the wielder loses 5 speed.
If the wielder's speed reaches zero while wielding this bow, they become frozen (paralyzed) this effect lasts for one minute until they pass a constitution saving throw at the end of their turn.
Switchbow - As an action, you are able to transform between the bows' two forms. The blades by themselves are non-magical. The blades deal 2d6 slashing damage or 2d4 piercing damage.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
