Staff (quarterstaff), very rare

Made by using a mold of Aerog's aarakocra foot and is designed to attach via leather straps on around the shin, ankle, and mid-foot. The toe box leaves the sole of the feet exposed and it attaches to the grieve as a separate dynamic piece that will move with Aerog's foot movement. The outside of the toe box is fit with 3 blades in an arching shape, the edges silvered.

These grieves leave your hands free. When you take the Attack Action, you can make all attacks granted by the action with the grieves. When you do you can either:

  1. Quick light strikes. Sacrificing half of your movement, you can make attacks with the grieves as a finesse weapon dealing 1d6+dex

  2. Heavy brutal strikes. You must not voluntarily move this turn to take this option. When you do, your attacks are not finesse and do 1d8+str

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Damage: Slashing, Damage: Slashing, Versatile, Topple
