Automatic Can Opener

This strange mechanical device is a flat brass disk two inches in diameter, with eight thin metal appendages tucked in toward its center. You can use your action to place the device onto a wooden or metal surface no thicker than 2 inches you wish to cut a hole into. The device's metal legs spring out, and begins whirring as it attempts to cut a three-inch diameter hole into the surface. After the device has been used, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.
