The armor appears to made of small scales of unknown origin. At all times, the space between the scales seems to glow red-orange, as well as give off steam periodically. While wearing the mail, the player will be uncomfortably warm.
While wearing this armor, you have resistance to all fire-based attacks directed at you.
Curse. This armor is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when an identify spell is cast on the armor or you attune to it. Attuning to the armor curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic; removing the armor fails to end the curse. While cursed, you have weakness to all water based attacks. Additionally, if the mail comes into contact with water in the environment, it will damage the wearer. Since you have attuned your mind to this armor, the wearer will take 1d6 psychic damage for each minute of contact with water. If completely submerged in water, the wearer takes 4d6 psychic damage.
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
