This pair of mechanized spheres glow softly with blue arcane energy from beneath shifting metallic plates.
These spheres are unique and function as a pair, they can only interact with each other, and each stone has 1 charge which it regains daily at dawn. While holding one of these stones, a creature can use an action to activate their stone. Once activated, the stone will teleport the wearer (including the items/gear they have on their person) to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the stone which was not activated. There is no limit on the distance of this teleportation, but both spheres must be on the same plane of existence, and there must be unoccupied space sufficient for a medium sized creature within 5 feet of the inactivated sphere or the teleportation will fail.
Additionally, a creature holding the sphere can expend 1 charge to cast the Misty Step spell without the verbal components.
