Arrow of the Messenger

A magic arrow or crossbow bolt adorned with a colorful ribbon or fletching. By letting the arrow fly from an appropriate weapon, you can cast the spell Sending without expending a spell slot. The arrow flies directly to the target if not obstructed. It hovers in the air next to them until they touch it, at which point they hear your message in their mind. When they let go of the arrow, it returns to you and hovers in the air until you touch it to hear their reply. Once you've used the arrow this way, it can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
