This rod seems to be made of frosted glass with arcane engravings but it is much sturdier. The head of the rod is bulbous and the rod itself can be used for attacking very similar to a light hammer. When used in this way while attuned the rod has +1 magic bonus to attack and damage rolls and deals an additional 1d8 thunder damage on a hit.

While attuned the wielder of the rod can use it as an arcane focus for their spells.

The rod has 3 charges which can be used to cast the Thunderwave spell. A single charge will cast the spell at 1st level but additional charges can be used to cast it at higher levels: each additional charge will increase the level of the spell by one. All charges recover daily at dawn.

Proficiency with a light hammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
