Amulet of Dramaturgy

Hanging from a chain of silver and surrounded by a golden braid of metal, this pendant is a large, eye-catching amethyst. Once attuned, the amulet allows the bard to expend charges and cast "Dramaturgy" as a Bonus Action. The amulet has 4 charges. The amulet regains 1D4 charges at after you complete a long rest. If you expend the last charge, roll a D20. On a 1, the amulet cracks and loses all magical properties

When you cast this spell, choose a target creature who possess but has not used inspiration that you bestowed. The target’s inspiration is buffed until you cast Dramaturgy again, or if they use/lose their inspiration. When the target creature uses their buffed inspiration, you may choose one of the following effects after they roll their inspiration die but before they know the result of the roll:
    •    Double the resulting roll of inspiration (1 charge)
    •    Allow the creature to retain their use of inspiration (2 charges; does not retain the buffed effect from the spell)
    •    Assist in their skill check by making a Charisma check yourself and use the higher of the two rolls (3 charges)

Whichever you choose, you must explain in detail the dramatic effect that enables the magic. Similar to the thaumaturgy spell, dramaturgy can add various sensory cues and effects to heighten the impact of your inspiration on the target.
