Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement by a (requires attunement by a Paladin))
This platinum plate armor binds itself to a champion of Bahamut who has proven himself worthy of the Dragon God. Its plates are interlocked except for 5 scale shaped holes arranged in a circle around an engraving of Bahamut in the center of the chest piece.
Dormant State
- While wearing this armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.
- If an adult or ancient chromatic dragon's scales are attached, the wearer gains resistance to damage from that dragon's color.
- You may do radiant damage as your breath weapon.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Posted May 20, 2020There are three states to this item, requiring the wearer to "unlock" the next level by actions or items etc.
Here are the next two levels if you're interested.
Awakened State (must have 3 chromatic scales attached)
Exalted State (must have all 5 scales attached)
