Amulet of the Gambler

The soul of a gambler lies within this amulet. The luck of a gambler is fickle, you never know which way it will land.

This amulet holds 3 charges. The player can attempt to use luck on an attack, saving throw, or skill check. They can consume a charge to roll [roll]1d20[/roll] to add an effect based on the outcome of the roll:

1-2    Your luck has failed. You automatically fail your roll. If it was an attack, you damage yourself instead.

3-8    Luck is against you. Your roll has a penalty of -2

9-12    Average. You have no bonus or penalty

13-18    Luck is interested in you. Your roll gains a bonus of +2

19-20    You have the favor of luck. You automatically succeed on your roll. If it was an attack it is a critical.
