Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

These longswords were once beautiful scintillating crimson, made for the Blazing Knights during the kingdom of Burning-Crest’s prime, but many decades under their powerful enchantments have scorched them to black. One such longsword feels cold to a creature that is attuned to it.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Whenever a creature that is not attuned to the sword touches it, that creature must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, that creature takes 3d10 fire damage. On a successful save, that creature takes half as much damage and drops the sword if it’s holding it. A creature struck by the sword automatically succeeds on this save.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
