Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement by a Oathbreaker Paladin)

While wearing this armor, you gain a +3 bonus to AC, and you are immune to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. In addition, whenever you make a Dex saving throw, you take half damage on a failure and no damage on a success, as the armor blocks the brunt of the attack.

The armor dwells within you. As a free action, you can activate the armor, causing it to burst forth from your skin.

Whenever you are hit with a melee attack by someone within 5ft of you, the attacker takes 1d6 piercing damage as spikes pop out and stab them in retaliation.

Final Stand: The first time you would drop to 0 hit points, you gain 50 temporary hit points, and though you are considered unconscious, you don’t make death saving throws until the temporary hit points are depleted.

Curse. Once you attune to this cursed armor, you can't unattune from it unless you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic.

The armor feeds on your blood, your mind, and your soul to empower itself. Once you summon the armor, you take 1d4 psychic, 1d4 piercing, and 1d4 necrotic damage every 1d6 + 1 turns.

Forged in the wrathful flames of the Hells, the armor thrives off violence. When the armor’s Final Stand is activated, the wearer is forced to use its action to attack the nearest creature, and use its movement to get closer to a creature.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
