If a creature dies while wearing this necklace, they return to life with 1 health instead. The creature's soul is sucked into the Ankh before it can be ushered to the afterlife and is considered alive if resurrected in this manner. If the necklace is removed, the creature's soul can no longer be contained by the Ankh and it is released causing the creature to suffer permanent death.
