The dagger has been painstakingly honed and carved, apparently from a tooth of the legendary dragon itself. On the "blade" are inscribed the words (in Draconic): "Ixen Oth Ashardalon" - which also serves as the dagger's command word. Found deep in the damp rot of the Sunless Citadel, Ixen Oth (Ashardalon's Tooth/Fire Tooth) is a magical dagger used in rituals by the twisted cult that worshipped the ancient Red Terror. The daggers were used in fell rituals and sacrifices by the Dragon Priests of old.
While wielding this weapon, you enjoy a +1 to attack and damage rolls, and are resistant to cold damage.
As a bonus action, you can utter the dagger's command word, causing flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 1d6 fire damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again, drop, or sheathe the blade.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
