The Aeorian Security Cannon's a hand crossbow discovered in the Rejuvenation Chamber of the Genesis Ward in the ruins of Aeor. The Security Cannon's a sleek crossbow made from a dark, slate-steel metal w/ runes covering the bow. There's no string, & the bow's angled rather than curved, w/ a disc at each end. The trigger's warm to the touch. The runes along the bow give off a red-orange glow when the Cannon's prepared to be fired.
This crossbow grants a +2 bonus to attack & damage rolls, & on a missed attack, the wielder can choose to attack again as a reaction.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
