Armor (half plate), legendary (requires attunement by a Druid chosen of Anu )

The Armor of the Armachd is a set of half-plate-style armor crafted from the densest trees of the forest of Broinn. This armor appears to be alive as small buds and branches sprout from the armor and vines create a chain-like under armor that protects against missiles. This armor has long been passed down among the commanders of the druidic commanders of the defenders of Anu. The armor is alive seeking to protect its wearer even at the cost of the life around them.

When the wearer is made unconscious unwillingly the armor expands forming a shell around the wearer as it siphons the life from the earth and flora around them restoring them to consciousness after 1d4 rounds.  The healing received is based upon the level of vegetation in the surrounding area. restore 10d10 if the area is densely vegetated. 6D8 if moderately vegetated. 2d6 if sparsely vegetated. Or finally, restore 1d4 if no vegetation is present in the area instead pulling from the minor nutrients in the soils and waters nearby.

This armor was specifically crafted for use by front-line commanders and grants greater power to the wearer while wild-shaped. The wearer is able to communicate with allies while in a wild shape form as the natural noises of the alternate form are telepathically translated for allies. In addition, while in wild shape the armor adjusts to fit the altered form of the wearer and serves as a focus for the wearer to cast spells of 2nd level and lower while wild shaped.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
