A ring made of a material not native to this plane, it sits on your finger and seems almost to ripple in time with your heartbeat as if it were made of liquid. If you gaze into the black recesses of the ring long enough you can see the beauty of the Cosmos itself and the vast expanses of all the planes of existence dancing above your head. But past these gorgeous vistas, deep in the black voids between the stars, you glimpse at something dwelling there, gazing right back at you.

When attuned to this ring the bearer can use an action to cast Modify Memory save DC 19.

However, seeing and manipulating the Tapestry of Reality as the Deep Ones do is taxing on the mind of mere mortals and can result in unpleasant side effects. When wearing this ring, the bearer has Disadvantage on all Wisdom Saving Throws. Additionally, the bearer reduces their Wisdom Score by the level at which they cast Modify Memory in this was (e.g. casting at 9th level reduced Wisdom by 9). The bearers Wisdom score will reset on a long rest.

If your Wisdom is reduced to zero in this way you withdraw into a chattering sleep filled with nightmares and remain this way for 8 hours.
