Weapon (rapier), legendary (requires attunement by a Bard, Rogue)

For you to attune to this weapon you need to bathe in the golden rays of the sun for 1 hour.

This legendary rapier can only be acquired by seeking out the merchant in the mountains. This merchant (who is a wizard) looks ancient in appearance, but he is as lively as ever. Upon arriving the merchant will ask you three random riddles. If you answer all three correctly, you will be allowed access to this weapon. If you answer incorrectly, the merchant will snap his fingers and you will be transported to the last place you visited. If you try to go back, the merchant will not be there. The merchant will appear in another location that you will have to find again.

This rapier hilt is wrapped in green leather with a wind crest at the end of the hilt. The guard of the rapier is covered in golden feathers and the sword itself is a red and yellow gradient. The hollow grind of the rapier is pale green color to bring the red of the rapier out more.

This weapon does 3d8 slashing damage plus your DEX modifier plus your proficiency bonus and deals 1d6 fire damage. As a bonus action you can utter the sacred word to make the weapon glow a blinding, golden light. Any creature within a 5 foot radius centered on you must make a CON saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. If the creature(s) successfully saves, you are blinded instead. Upon attuning to this weapon you can summon it at will regardless of the location of you or the weapon.

Additionally, when you speak this weapon's command word, you can have it radiate heat that warms you and the people around you, up to 5 ft, in colder temperatures.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Damage: Fire, Blinded, Bard, Rogue, Finesse, Vex
