Weapon (greataxe), artifact (requires attunement by a Must be a disciple of Gian)

This item appears to be a golden staff with a sun on the top. While grasping the handle, you can use a bonus action to cause two blades of pure radiance to spring into existence from the top to form a greataxe.

You can use another bonus action to make the blades disappear as well. If you are proficient with greataxes, you are proficient with the Axe of Gian.

The weapon does radiant damage instead of slashing damage.

The greataxe's luminous blades emit bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. The light is sunlight. While the blades persists, you can use an action to expand or reduce its radius of bright light by 5 feet , to a maximum of 30 feet or a minimum of 10 feet.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Must be a disciple of Gian, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
