This fearsome looking armour is made of various layers of splint mail; hardened leather and hides layered on top of each other to create a solid protection. Each layer is dyed shades of green, gold and black with intricate details showing whirlpools of water.
The helmet has two large bull horns rising to the sky whilst a metal face covering replicates a gruesome gargoyle in jet black. A single green banner is strapped to the back of the chest piece with white tips on it's jagged edges. The banner itself shows a black and gold whirlpool which almost seems to rotate as the wielder does.
Whilst attuned and wearing this item, the bearer gains the following benefits:
Warriors Instinct: You gain a +1 bonus to your dexterity saving throws and you enemies cannot gain a flanking bonus when attacking you.
Leap Of The Oni: Your Jump distance is increased to 40 feet.
Banner Of The Jade Pool: The bearer of this armour and all allies within 20 feet gain an additional d4 when taking saving throws.
Fearsome Gaze: On your turn, you may spend your reaction to target all enemies within a 15 foot cone from you in any direction. They must succeed on a Wisdom Saving Throw or be Frightened of you. The DC of this save is [10 + Your Proficiency + Your Strength Bonus].
This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
