Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

A weapon made from an exotic substance form the astral sea. The weapon vibrates at a strange frequency and is considered a forked, metal rod worth at least 250 gp, attuned to a particular plane of existence for the Plane Shift spell. In this case it is the Astral Plane. While in the Astral Plane the weapon glows a dim blue light out 10 ft.

  • You deal an extra 1d8 force damage with this weapon.
  • You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • When you make an attack, after the attack hits or misses you can expend a charge from the sword and teleport 30ft. to an unoccupied space you can see.
  • After you are hit by an attack you can use your reaction to spend a charge for the sword and teleport 30ft. to an unoccupied space you can see. 

This weapon has 6 charges. At the end of a long rest it regains 1d6 charges. If in the Astral Plane the charges come back on a short rest.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
