Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a creature missing a hand or an arm)
This prosthetic appendage was developed by artificers of House Cannith. To attune to this item, you must have the ability to cast spells. You attach it to your arm at the wrist, elbow, or shoulder, at which point the prosthetic magically forms a copy of the appendage it’s replacing.
While attached, the prosthetic provides these benefits:
- The prosthetic is a fully capable part of your body.
- You can take an action to remove the prosthetic, and it removes itself if your attunement to it ends. It can’t be removed against your will.
- The prosthetic is a spell storing item as well as a spellcasting focus. Choose a a spell of 1st through 5th level from the chosen spell lists that require you to make an attack roll: Bard, Sorcerer, Warlock, Cleric, Druid, or Wizard. The spellcasting modifier for the spells depends on the spell list you choose: Charisma for Bard, Sorcerer, or Warlock; Wisdom for Cleric or Druid; or Intelligence for Wizard. You can change the spell once per long rest.
- You have 5 charges and can cast your chosen spell at up to 5th level depending on your natural spell level.
