You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

  • This weapon deals 2d8 necrotic damage, you regain a number of hit points equal half the amount of necrotic damage dealt.
  • As a bonus action, you may extend the reach of this weapon to 30 feet until the end of your turn.
  • When an enemy within 50 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to attack all enemies within that range. Make an attack roll, this attack roll targets each enemy within range. On a hit, you deal 1d12 + your modifier worth of necrotic damage and you increase your maximum hit points by the total damage dealt. This effect lasts for 24 hours and this feature cannot be used again until you lose all hit points gained this way.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
