Armor (breastplate), uncommon (requires attunement)

This armor has pauldrons that seem to be made of some sort of lightweight stone. Odd runes cover the pauldrons. If the wearer finds himself falling, smoke and small wisps of fire start to pour out of the armor. While attuned to this armor, the wearer is immune to falling damage. Additionally, should the wearer choose to do so, they can tuck into a full dive and strike the ground with significant force. The impact causes a small crater and a 10ft radius explosion of flying rock. Any creature within the radius must make a DC 14 dexterity saving throw or take any falling damage that would be been taken by the wearer up to a maximum of 5d6 bludgeoning damage. Success means the creature takes half damage from the explosion.

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
